If the story in that last part gave no indication, now’s the part where I tell you that you can’t overwrite your pain and trauma, nor the most authentic and inborn parts of yourself, to manifest a life that’s not yours.
What you can do is take the life you want to live and Frankenstein it into the one you’ve got.
You can stitch together the limbs and organs of the story life has been telling to you with the story that you want to tell.
So now you and I have to have a conversation about ‘manifestation.’
Manifestation, as our ancestors understood it, was originally about harmonizing with life. It was about entering into an ongoing conversation—a mutually influential relationship—with Fate.
For as any good student of the Tarot knows, there’s a time to grab the Wheel of Fortune, and there’s a time to ride it.
